Day 01. Lima

Arrival at the city of Lima. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 02. Lima 

Breakfast in the hotel. At the appropriate time, we will start our half-day excursion called Colonial and modern Lima, where we will visit the Main Square, the Cathedral, San Francisco church and convent, the Government Palace, the Justice Palace, the city hall of Lima, the Desamparados station, old streets with old colonial mansion and Moorish style balconies. Finally, will go to the financial and modern districts: San Isidro and Miraflores, from here you will enjoy a wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 03. Lima / Paracas – Ballestas Islands/ Ica

Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, transfer to the bus terminal to start the travel to Paracas. Arrival and transfer to the pier to start the excursion by boat to the Ballestas Islands inhabited by pelicans, sea lions, penguins and other species. During the return journey, you will be able to appreciate the Candelabra that was traced in a sand dune by ancient Peruvians. After that, will continue the trip to Ica. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 04. Ica / Nazca – Overflight / Arequipa

Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, transfer to Nazca, arrival and overflight The Nazca Lines, famous for the enigmatic geometric, animals, people and vegetables figures designed in sand. After that, we will travel by regular bus to the city of Arequipa. At night, arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 05. Arequipa

Breakfast in the hotel. Free morning. In the afternoon, visit to the city of Arequipa: Carmen Alto Viewpoint, Yanahuara Viewpoint, The Main Square, the Cathedral, La Compañía Church and the Santa Catalina Convent, which remained closed to the public for approximately four centuries. Accommodation.

Day 06. Arequipa / Colca

Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, we will start our trip. Arrival at the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where will see vicunas in their natural habitat. Arriving to Patawasi we will have a short break to use the toilet services and drink “mate de coca” (not included). Continuing our road trip we will pass to Pampa Cañahuas, where will find many alpacas and llamas. Arrival to Pampa de Tocra where there are “bofedales” refuge of migratory birds as well as the Andean duck, Bobo bird, Black ibis, Guayatas, etc. Finally, will arrive to Mirador de Los Andes, which is 4910 m.a.s.l, the highest point of our trip from there you will watch many volcanoes. Descend to the capital of the Colca town: Chivay, there will have a lunch and transfer to the selected hotel. Dinner. Accommodation.

Day 07. Colca / Puno

Breakfast in the hotel. Very early in the morning we will visit the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world. We will have the possibility to appreciate the majestic flight of the condor and visit the surrounding villages. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, travel by regular bus to Puno. Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Puno. Accommodation.

Day 08. Puno / Lake Titicaca

Breakfast in the hotel. Lake excursion in the Titicaca, visit to the Uros Island, a community who live on the floating island built with totora reed. We will also visit the Taquile Island to appreciate one of the most beautiful Andean places, with many hills and archaeological remains. Lunch included. Return to Puno, arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 09. Puno/ Cusco

Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, transfer to the bus terminal. Will travel by regular tourist bus to Cusco. On route, we will stop to visit some touristic places such as the Lithic Museum of Pucara, La Raya, The Archaeological Complex of Raqchi and The Chapel Sixtina of America or the Andahuaylillas temple , tickets and guide are included. Lunch in the restaurant on route. Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Cusco. Accommodation.

Day 10. Cusco / Sacred Valley

Breakfast in the hotel. Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas: Will visit the Pisac Market and the villages in the area where you have a free time to do shopping and then continue the excursion. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit to the Ollantaytambo Fortress. Transfer to the hotel in the Sacred Valley. Accommodation.

Day 11. Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu / Cusco 

Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, transfer from your hotel to the train station in Ollanta. This magnificent adventure begins traveling through one of the most spectacular railway routes in the world, we will observe beautiful Andean panoramic landscapes. Arrival at Aguas Calientes; will ascend by bus. Upon arrival, enjoy the imposing view of the sacred citadel of the Inca Machu Picchu empire, chosen one of the 7 New Wonders of the Modern World in the year 2007. Visit the main sectors of the Sanctuary as the room of the Three Windows, Intiwatana, Barns, among others. Lunch in a local restaurant. At approppiate time, return to Cusco. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 12. Cusco – Maras Moray

Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, we will start our excursion visiting Moray, where be able to see the Inca Agricultural laboratory, formed by four amphitheaters or platforms of concentric circular stones and an approximate depth of 150 meters. In the place, the planted was adapted to new ecosystem. Some people believe that these constructions were also an amphitheater for civic-religious ceremonies and not only for agricultural purposes. Then, we will visit Maras, where there are salt mines and animals carrying sacks of salt extracted from the natural saltpans. Return to Cusco. Accommodation.

Day 13. Cusco/ Heliconia

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Iquitos. Arrival, reception and welcome in the baggage area where a representative person of the lodge will assist you and transfer to our office in Iquitos. You will be offered a small induction about the route, our services, what should you do and what should you not do in the jungle, as well as some important tips. After a short wait, you will be transferred to the Puerto de Bellavista where you will be embarked in one of our fast boats that will transfer you to the Heliconia Amazon River Lodge through the Amazon River. Upon arriving will proceed with the check-in and location in your respective room. We will have a lunch. In the afternoon, start your first excursion accompanied by our experienced guides walking through the reserve of Yanamono, there the guides will teach you to identify many species of flora such as; heliconia flowers, medicinal plants and Giant trees: Ceiba Pentranda. During the trip, you will observe many species of birds such as the Turkey Vulture, Black Fronted Nunbird, and some families of small monkeys such as the marmosets, the Titi and the squirrel monkey. At the end of the day, we will depart back to the lodge to enjoy some hours of rest and relaxation. Dinner. Accommodation.

Day 14. Iquitos

Breakfast. We will start the day with the bird watching excursion, there you will observe many species of birds. Return to the Lodge for breakfast, after that, will be part of the Artisanal Fishing expedition where will learn about the artisan fishing techniques, as well as the hunting of piranhas. If the expedition was successful, you will have the opportunity to take the fish for the preparation of your lunch in the lodge. Return to the lodge to enjoy the typical lunch of the region. In the afternoon, we will make a short boat tour in the Yanamono Island where we will know the majestic Victoria Regia. Return to the lodge. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 15. Iquitos / Lima

Enjoy an excellent breakfast before starting the visit to a rustic Amazonian Trapiche, where the inhabitants will show us the process of the  sugarcane extract using horses and fermented the cane juice in wooden barrels. We will return to the lodge for our lunch, proceed with the checkout, and will leave Iquitos. Transfer to the Iquitos airport to take the flight to Lima. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 16. Lima / International Flight

Breakfast in the hotel. At the appropriate time, transfer from the hotel to the airport for your international flight.
